As Handelssted travels around Michigan, we will be letting you know about other places to visit in the area in case you weren’t able to attend the event. There are always something more to these communities.

So, here is some places in Hillman worth taking a look.

VanPamel Hometown Diner, if you want a filling breakfast, lunch, or dinner “Grandma” made, this is your place. All the food has the love only “Grandma” would make: great taste and big portions. This is making me hungry. VanPamel Hometown Diner’s staff makes you feel like family as soon as you walk in.

Chauncey’s Pub, after a long day of enjoying “Up North”, is the place to be for an adult beverage and reminisce the day. The staff is more than happy to keep your glass full with a smile. Did I mention they have food? Chauncey’s Pub has a full menu…and you know me…yes…they have PIZZA.

Brush Creek Mill, is a museum and gift shop. Seeing the past of Hillman and surrounding area is a great way to see how small towns are so special. The staff is very knowledgeable to give you even more of an insight to the area history. The gift shop is full of local artisans wares so you can find those unique treasures.
