So, here is some places in Houghton Lake worth taking a look.

Backdoor Saloon & Eatery, is a great place to get an adult beverage and some food. The Backdoor is the place to get comfortable telling tales after a long day of boating, shopping, enjoying nature. The staff is friendly and more than willing to help you find that beverage and entrée to make it a special day.

Little Boots Country Dinner, is where to go for the morning after a long day in Houghton Lake. The food is just what you need to get started for the next adventure. The is staff is more than eager to keep your coffee cup full and the decore has the feel of grandma’s dinning room with some unique extras.

Consignment Gift Shop, is where you can find an artisan piece to accent your space. The staff has a story about everything in the shop, the artisans and their wares, sounds familiar. I could spend hours browsing and listening to the stories. Had a wonderful time.
